Hmm I can get you Registered mail which is $14 on top of whatever shipping you will be paying. It says here "Registered mail includes up to $60 of Coverage for loss or damage" so I am guessing that means insurance? Is that what you need? I can double check with the post office later if you want me to but you will have to give me some time... I will ask next time I go there. ^^
What did you buy off ebay? =o Did you try contacting that seller?
No -- It's not the same as EMS. The "registered mail" option I just told you is still regular letter post, but with tracking and insurance, so it won't get to you in light speed XD;
Let's see... Expedited Parcel is $19. Coverage Details: Up to $100.00 included. Tracking and Delivery Confirmation are included. Return to sender is not included (unless I pay an extra fee for it) so if it doesn't get to you it won't get back to me, whereas for letter post return to sender is included.
Xpresspost is $28...... it seems to be the same as expedited except that it will get to you within 4 days.
Hmm, yeah. Maybe you want expedited instead? It says it takes up to 2 weeks for delivery. It's a little cheaper than letter-post + registered mail ($11+$14) but without return to sender.
Hmmm... either option is very expensive. I think I'm going to take my chances and have you send them via regular post. Sorry to put you to all that trouble.
I bought some keychains and postcards from an ebay seller, I did contact them, but they never responded. I had only one other incident where I didn't receive something from an ebay seller, one from Italy. I had paid postal insurance, contacted the seller, but was given a run around before he stopped responding. I lost $23 on that deal. Needless to say, I won't buy anything from that country--they have known issues with their postal service.
I will be paying via PayPal, using cash transfer, not a card. I'm thinking the fees are either free or minimal (unless PP is charging a fee on everything now). As soon as I know what I owe you, I'll make payment within 24 hours--we have a national holiday tomorrow and I'll be away.
Hahaha okay. Cuz I recently sold something FMA on ebay that was around that amount and the buyer never left any feedback (some times people are too lazy to) so I was wondering, that's all. XD; Good that you weren't talking about meee. 8D
( ... )
I got the doujin today! Well, I actually got them on Saturday, but I picked them up at the Post today.
Wow, they got here really fast; I guess I was worried for nothing! Which also means, that ebay seller probably never sent my postcards and keychains at all.
And thanks for the little extras--they're very cute!
Hmm I dunno about the post office part... it could really be an error with the postal service. @_@ Last week someone on ebay contacted me about a lost mail (first time in 3 years)... so I guess it *does* occasionally happen. *sigh* But I am glad that it doesn't happen often enough to you know, stop me from selling stuff...

Is it possible to get insurance? The last thing I bought from Canada was lost...

Yup, that will be fine! And paying for things through PP is a routine thing for me--I'll include all the info even though PP should give that to you.
Off to make payment! ^__^
