READ THIS PEOPLE, FOR THE LOLz (near the end).
Monday: Like the usual Mondays. Had a quiz for the communication class (I got 75% on it). Potluck party after the quiz. Patho lecture in the afternoon.
Tuesday: Epic traffic so I was late to the group project in the morning. Oh wellz. At 11am we had a group lunch together since it was last day of clinical class. We gave our instructor a frame with our signatures on it and a box of chocolates. ^^ In the afternoon during clinical class, we were all busy taking care of patients and saying goodbye to them. The old lady I was taking care of (actually quite a few of us took care of her before since she is a regular in the ward) cried near the end of the day when we were all about to leave ;_; while we were all so happy that we are done with level 1 clinical class lol
Wednesday: If you think I studied on my birthday you must be outta your mind. XD
Thursday: PBL final exam @ 8:30am. I guess it's not too hard since there is no absolute right or wrong answer on for this... The nature of this exam is to write a care plan according to the given scenario and patient info. I'm pretty sure I passed and I don't really care what grade I got on it lol. Lab @ 12:30pm and it was only 30 min... and then Patho seminar @ 2:30pm (my friends were reluctant to go to the seminar with me but since I'm the driver of the day they had no choice but to stay with me, hahaha).
Friday: Did Pharmacology and Clinical Techniques online final exams today. Only got 70% on Pharm. Dunno about the Clinical Techniques yet.
Saturday & Sunday: Was trying to study for Pathophysiology final exam but... slacked off like whoa. XD; Oh well, I only needed 10% on the final to attain a 50% pass in the course so... it's hard to motivate myself to study hahaha. Treated mom to Shanghai Wonderful restaurant as a late b-day present. =3
Monday: Pathophysiology final @ 1pm. It was pretty hard (duh I didn't study) but ahhh whatever. Met up with my clinical instructor after the final to do a final evaluation. After the eval, the following conversation happened:
*was showing my friend my calendar*
*sensei (yes she is Japanese) comes back into the room and commented on my calendar*
sensei: Oh by the way, I have a friend who is a professional mangaka.
me: Oh wow, I'm not at the level yet-
sensei: But she draws gay manga.
frd: (who watches anime too but I don't know if she is a fujoshi) Oh those are pretty popular...
me: *LE GASP* *2 seconds later* I see...
Now that I think back, I should've asked sensei what her friend drew! But I was too shy to ask... XD; Oh well... The thought that my sensei has a friend who draws professional BL is just... just too... hilarious? XD *shot*
And she gave us a penlight as a x'mas present! That's so nice of her!
And then I went home and edited the Pharmacology paper but gave up after editing for 80 minutes (the writing is so-so and I can't possibly rephrase every sentence of a 10 pages paper). Sent it back to my group mate and told her to hand it in. *sigh* Oh wellz. Anyhow, level 1 is over. Yays! Level 2 will begin on Jan 4th. I hope I'll survive lol.
