This morning I woke up, got the kid up, let the kid and her mom go to school, then dropped off again. Four hours later I woke up, and took a very slow walk to our local park. I read some of "James Tiptree, Jr: The Double Life of Alice B. Sheldon", then walked home again. And fell asleep for hours.
When she called I told my wife that no, not any way I could come visit with the enormous and loud soccer kids party tonight. All I need to do is sleep, and Carol's okay with that. Yes, she's got a brain. I've got about half one right now, what with the peculiarities treating my head.
Tonight: sleep! Fairly soon, because I'm letting go of everything I used to do. It's just sleep now. My wife's given me permission to conk out while I'm recovering from all of this.
And I can't write right for y'all - I know this. In a few months or whatever I'll be back to normal and able to read this stuff and go "Ew!" quite a bit. But I don't care about that - I want to hang out with y'all, so we'll see.
