I should really update this thing more often. I should be more creative and witty in doing so. etc etc etc. Still I've been doing new things and trying to stick to it. I still like lists though, so let's start there;
Climbed another rank at work.
Traveled to Vegas, Orlando, Paris, Rome
Had a house guest for a year, (more on that later, maybe)
Got back into World of Warcraft
Beat the last boss ( for WOTLK)
Got back out of World of Warcraft
Went to anime north for the 3rd, 4th and 5th time
Bought a house
Re-wrote a huge chunk of my fancy program
Wrote a bunch of new support programs for the fancy program to replace the old support suite
Got some new tools
What else may be interesting? Well the cats stayed with my parents so I only see them occasionally, though they still demand to be lavished with attention. Some of my friends are now married others are engaged, in fact I will be traveling to Germany for one friend's wedding this summer. I do still read a number of webcomics though that list has changed significantly as various titles have ended, gone stale, stopped updating, etc. I don't really fly anymore, which is unfortunate, due to the significant increase in the cost to do so. I still have my license of course it is merely inactive.
I believe you are now caught up on the most immediate and relevant details of the past 2 years, so what is the plan for the soon to be present future? A plan? yea....sure I've got a plan, it's a great one!... somewhere around here, probably, maybe, not, no. I have three main items on my to do / ongoing list. Firstly I've upped the amount of exercise I do in the hopes of negating the physical aspects of a job that now keeps me at a desk 90% of the time. Secondly I have a few creative projects I'd like to move forwards though I will probably have to chose one and focus on it. Lastly though I've had to shuffle things around to be able to do other things which are important to me I am intent on getting more traveling done. Japan is hopefully going to be possible next year and after that I'm toying with the idea of India or perhaps somewhere in South-America.
But yea that's a rough summary. bucket voila.
