Ever since the Island incident and the complications that occurred because of it, Arabelle was met with an interesting set of circumstances.
How to prevent such a thing from happening again? Maybe she couldn't stop the actual kidnapping, but maybe, just maybe, she could alert others to her being gone much, much quicker.
She set the PINpoints in her arms--with a lot of programming finagling--to ping her home system every twelve hours or so, with a 24 hour grace period to make up for weird Nexus times.
Of course, when that twenty-four hour period is up, the computer's screen disengages the swirling stars screensaver, beeps three times and starts composing a message.
Locked to Arabelle's Friendslist, if she has you friended, you can see this.
Okay. Is this thing doing the text to speech? 'Cause my hands're kinda full whi--ah, okay okay.
Alright. If you folks are reading this, I've set my computer to more or less confer with my PINpoints about every twenty four hours or so. This message means that I've missed a checkpoint somewhere in there.
Considerin' the whole thing with the Island, and the shit that went down with Raax, I didn't want to run the risk of vanishing without a word or something.
So. Basically, I've vanished. This is the following Coordinates I was last at when it sent the last ping.
[A line of PIN coordinates is displayed after a moment, it's somewhere in London in the Shop!Verse, unfortunately, as timing is wont, this is nowhere near where Ara actually vanished, but it's a start, eh?]
I dunno how close to me this actually is, but it's something to go on. I only hope somebody finds me soon.
