..God. I can't even fucking sleep good right now.

...

Hell, I haven't slept the best in months. I keep seeing that look on her face...

Ngf.

If anyone actually goes looking for her, they'll find her, at holy-god-what-time-is-it'o'clock at night in her claimed garage, working on some sort of bastardized engine project of hers on a heavy bench.

Aka has noticed that she's not in bed. How did he wake up enough to notice it, considering that he completely shuts off when he goes to sleep? I don't know. Maybe he had to pee. Whatever the case, he thought he'd find her down here.

"Holy god, what time is it...?"

"Two minutes past four in the morning, by New York time." Arabelle states flatly, and a little tiredly. She's turning the socket wrench with a practiced precision. When she says she can do this in her sleep, she's not lying, even if she's awake now.

Ara didn't really bother to get dressed, she's still wearing the PJ pants and the night-shirt-thing she usually wears to bed, and her boots, which makes for... ..an interesting outfit, to say the least, "I can't sleep. I keep dreaming of her, and what she tried to do." Arabelle also heavily implies, here: What I had to do.

She's not one to dwell on things much, but in this case, it's probably understandable.

"... That's what time I thought it was."

Aka pads over and rests his chin on one of her shoulders to sort of see what she's doing. Given that he apparently just rolled out of bed, and he sleeps naked, you can sort of guess what he isn't wearing. Yeah, still hasn't 100% gotten the hang of 'modesty' yet.

"Mm." He doesn't have dreams in the same sense that humans generally do, but if he did they'd be about her right now. After a moment, he hugs her close and mutters, "She has no right to invade your dreams."

She stops turning the socket wrench and just sort of lean/slumps into him all at once. The fact that he's naked is noted, but modesty isn't particularly important right now. Her wings flick outwards, a bit, so that they're not squished between the two of them.

"No." Arabelle says, after a moment. "She doesn't, and she does anyway."

I know how that feels.

Eventually you'll be able to stop dreaming when you sleep. Though that usually only comes for me after I stay awake for a week or two.

I understand how you feel. Sometimes things change so fast, it feels like a million years since the Huns.

Tell me about it, lilblue. And it's only actually been a few days.
