At last!
I finely had my heart scan, it's only taken 10 months! I very nearly didn't have it though I got a phone call from the hospital on Tuesday informing me I'd missed my apt?!?.I phoned back and asked what apt evidently they sent me one out in the post on the 10th of June, news to me!! the woman on the phone was very snotty, I could tell she thought I'd just not turned up, cos we all know nothing ever gets lost in the post does it! I told her in no uncertain terms that I'd been watching the post for it as 10 months was taking the piss and I'm also waiting to have an op that I can't have till they know what the murmur is.She said she'd send me another then phoned back ten mins later to say they'd had a cancellation on Friday, so I grabbed it.Got off the phone and realized it was bloody Friday the 13th.
Well I don't know the outcome, the radiographer was keeping his cards very close to his chest, I know that when I listened to the heart beat at one point it didn't sound right in fact it sounded very like Bim's before she had her heart repaired, I know it sounds different form different angles but this did give me a bit of a double take and he switched it off pretty sharpish too! Bloody hell if they think there's something there why won't they just tell you damn it.I've got the Gynae ones well trained they always tell me whats going on with my plumbing.So now I've got to faff about trying to make an apt to see the GP(not an easy thing at our surgery)to find out what if any thing he found, also I told him they can hear the murmur in my neck not my chest did he look at my neck did he frell!!!!!
