Erta Kitchen Things
Been thinking about these things for a while so here's a tidbit
I had some stuff in my head for ages I finally wrote down. Some Ertakar kitchen stuffs. They eat a lot of gourd, melons and other hard shelled produce so pretty much all kitchens you’ll find outfitted with this steel blade like this on the counter-tops, You basically smack the produce on it and either roll it down to cut all the way through or pick it back up and crack it in half yourself.
I figured spoons wouldn’t really make sense for a long snout species so if they have anything liquid like a soup it’d probably be like a weird bowl if not just a straight cup. It’s like a watering pot but for soup.
Also been playing with the idea of re-usable sealing wax. Mostly for produce, you dip the the open side in the wax pot to seal it off instead of using plastic or something. The theory being that if the wax can be properly pealed off and cleaned or strained you could re-use the wax a lot more effectively than say, plastic wrap.
Also had this idea for something that’s a mix between a dumpling and a pasty. It’s a soft shell that’s seared outside to make it crispy, filled with a meat paste on the inside. Meant for traveling, easy packing and eating.
