meh, erta character musing
Been trying to pin Esurda for a while, and all I got was quiet and books and statistics and I never did anything with it because I wasn't sure if that was just no inspiration white noise or if that was actually something to read from them. Turns out that's part of who they are.
Soo Esurda is pretty much quiet, not because they do not wish to speak or are afraid to, it's more that they speak when is neccissary, otherwise they just don't see the point. They have a fixation/facination with numbers and statistics, very much a Math for Fun sort. Books are a primary recreation but it's more histories and research books they absorb themselves in, fiction is something they rarely have interest in. (I imagine they also have difficulty picturing anything, part of why fiction often lends itself to be more frustrating than entertaining)
They don't avoid people or hate social interaction they're just generally indifferent to it. That beign said, they're not especially socially awkward, either. They're aware of social cues, sarcasm and other things, they just don't care. Which is funny because the first impression some get is that they are unaware, so when someone attempts to abuse what they assume is social ignorance, it tends to fall flat on it's face.
It's hard to say that this is all part of a personal choice, a means to keep from getting emotionally overcharged or out of balance, as all of them have their own means of coping with the byproducs of their biochemestry, or if it's just the way they are. I'm going with the later.
Regardless, it does make them the most stable of the group, more so than even Dorren. Dorren, for all his passiveness and friendly demenor, can still be on as much of a hair trigger as the rest, his personalty is more so to help himself cope with the world around him more than coping with himself. I want to say they could also be third generation? However, Esurda doesn't strike me as especially young or old. If anything they seem older than Dorren, and Dorren is the only third gen. (actually that makes me wonder if what of Dorren's parents? Since everyone else is second gen)
I also think they have an interest in teaching. Not in a class basis but on an individual basis.
