Finally!
Whew! APs are OVER! The AP Latin test was OK; I liked how all of us Latin students were kind of a team because we were all in in together (the group study sessions probably helped contribute to that feeling); or maybe more like a family, with Ms Conklin as the Godfather. Except a woman. And not Italian.
The test made us stay a minute or two after school, so Jeff and I convinced our respective mothers to let him give me a ride home. Stopped off at that video store at the...place...I'm not good with street names. Just wanted to see what was in it. It was just like blockbuster or Hollywood video, but smaller and dingier. And my suspicions were confirmed: they did have an adult video section in the back! We didn't try to go in, we just left. Brief discussion about how adult video stores might be falling on hard times because of the internet.
It's great to be able to just stop off at places like that on a whim, instead of having to pass it by when you're driven by your parents or whoever. I suspect there's lots of neat stuff to discover.
Oh, also Mr. LaFever told me that the construcion guys for the trailers were finished and had something like 120 pounds of aluminum siding left over, so they let ESC have it! Mirabile auditu! I bet it's worth a lot (relatively); We've collected only 200 or so pounds of aluminum cans over the entire school year (rough, rough estimate).
Remember: the harder a test is, the better you feel when it's over. :)
