LA FINITOOOO!
I AM DONE.
DONE FOR THE YEAR.
UNI IS OVAAAAAAAAAR!!!!
Like the lazy-assed procrastinator I am I left everything up to the last minute and then had to make a mad scramble to complete everything on time. So for like, the last three weeks, I've had virtually no life *cries*
It all accumulated in the last couple of days, where in the end I had 4 hrs sleep over 2 days, finished on thursday and went to a celebratory dinner with friends, drank soju like it was water, decided I couldnt handle anymore liquor, went home and subsequently passed out for 16hrs straight.
Soju is the best alcoholic drink evar, I can't believe for all these years I've been missing out on it. Actually, due to my second job, which I started about 3 months ago where I help foreign students (mainly Korean in this case) practice their english speaking skills, I've suddenly developed an interest in all things korean. I think it might even be overpowering my obsession with japan atm *GASPOHNOES*
Plus the fact hunnylun and I also met two korean guys at godskitchen, one who had a hot bod *ehehehehehe*
And then I found out he studies at the same uni I do and I was like scooooooore. Turns out he's an international student studying finance or something so, totally not in my building but thats ok. We've had lunch and dinner several times so we'll see how that goes...
Oh yeah, I also turned 21 in my time of non-existence *celebrates* so I had a P-A-R-T-Y and accumulated lots of presents :D and because I hardly get this many fun stuff if you are interested in what I received you can see it here:
Okay, so its a Big Tacky Guess Bag but I don't care, it cost my brother over 200 and I love it as much as I love him <3 plus I never realised how handy a large bag is, I dont know how I did without one before.
Another present from the same brother. He saw it at a supermarket and bought it as an after thought for me which was really sweet :) but then anything with heath ledger on it gets a thumbs up from me :P
SHOES ZOMGZZZ!! I always wanted purple converse but could never be bothered to buy them, now I dont have to bother :) The other two shoes are actually presents I bought for myself on my birthday, because I am the worst impulse buyer ever. The shoes in the middle I bought from a korean store in chinatown (due to my rising obsession lol) I liked them because of the subtle heel on the sneaker, it really intrigued me at the time. Plus, it made me look taller :P
a bunch of perfume that people bought me because really, you can't go wrong with nice smelling stuff. But also ZOMGLOLZOR HAIRSPRAY WHO BOUGHT ME THAT LOLOLOLOLOL :DDDDDDDDDDD
A bunch of jewellery from my aunty, uncle and two cousins. My aunty has good taste so I could count on her getting me something nice but I was actually quite surprised with my uncle and the two boys, what they chose was really nice as well :D
A board my cousin made me with photos from our time hanging out together when we were young. Ahhhh the memories... much hilarity....
This was a big surprise. One of the foreign students at the college I work at gave this to me, she said it was a gift from Japan. Its so cute, kind of reminds me of a lolly... I was trying to figure out what it was for...
AND THEN ZOMG IT OPENS WHUT.
Apparently you use it as a little keepsake box, to put jewellery in and stuff. Anyway it was really sweet of her since I wasn't expecting anything and its such a cute little contraption I couldn't help but marvelling at it for like 15 minutes straight like the simple-minded person I am XD
This next one was from my bestest friend in the whole wide world :D I sekritly have this crazy obsessed perverted deranged little crush on Prince Justin in HMC so to commemorate this she decided to get me this wtflol scare crow. And then to make it ten bazillionsquillion times more LOLZOR threw a tonne of "falling stars" in the package, so that when I opened it, it would sporadically ESPLODE!LOL on my arse and go everywhere. Too bad I opened it backstage of this mini film she was helping record hurhurhurrrrrr
OH HAY WHUTS THIS GAIS. I'M SURE NONE OF YOU RECOGNISE THIS DISTINGUISHABLE LITTLE GREEN BAG D:
I just HAD to show this off a bit, so forgive me. I dont think I've ever gotten anything this nice before, or this expensive. My then-at-the-time bf gave it to me, and then a week later we separated which led to much angsting of the "should I wear it or should I give it back?" kind. I decided not to give it back on suggestions from fellow friends, who said that he would be extremely hurt if I tried because it was a gift and not a token of his eternal love or something... and then the other day I was wearing it and he bumped into me. Awkwaaaaaard. Boys are confusing and make my head hurt :(
And a parting gift for you, because I knew you all wanted to take a look at my pretty face HUURRRRRR :B
Other than that I plan to be very productive with myself these holidays:
- I have several large cosplays to think about
- have to help a good friend write and illustrate a children's book for her niece's 1st birthday
- have to start alita_b_angel 's 21st present of AWESOMENESS which will be AWESOME BEYOND COMPARISON :D
- have to help an aquaintance with his opening and closing credits for his small film (if he gets round to finally asking me the lazy so-and-so)
- will try to quit woolies
- will try to replace this with an internship or at least some work experience
- have to finish off ALL the fanart and other things I promised people over the past year
- even though I hate web media will be helping my cousin set up his production company via designing a flash website which I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN DOING
- also have to set up alita and my joint Battle Arleh Productions website full of totally-fun-stuff
- learn korean (lets see if this holds up lol)
- learn mandarin (even more lol than the previous suggestion)
- LEARN SOME SORT OF LANGUAGE askhdklhfklahfu
...plus a bunch of other stuff I can't think of right now. I don't know why but for some reason ever since the start of this year I've been constantly deliberately making myself busy (which I hate btw), I think it might be because my final year is next year and I'm feeling the pressure that I havent seemed to have completed anything or done anything remotely useful for a future career while I've been at uni. I swear to god half of my course is a waste of time.
So hopefully over the next week or so you will see SOMETHING up here to show I am finally resurrected and ready for some designery fanarty cosplay-y? creative action >:D
