Its funny how routines start to develop and you don't even notice them until you break them. Donna and I have started going out for Sunday breakfast. It started off as a lark a couple of months ago but now I think it would bother both of us if we had to skip it. We go out somewhere for breakfast then hit a few different places to shop or entertain ourselves. Now that Donna has a job at Bath and Bodyworks to keep her busy, while she searches for a job in her field, our breakfast date has been put in danger :) that is when I realized how much we have fun doing it.
We have been doing a lot cooking at home and being a bit more frugal as we want to pay down all the remaining bills from moving Donna, getting the new townhouse up and in order and getting ready to start paying down the car and the upcoming school loan bills. So the breakfast routine has become one of the highlights for the week.
Unfortunately I did break another routine which made hugely unhappy. About 7 years ago I had a kidney stone and since then I have been really good about drinking a large amount of fluids each day to make sure I didn't have more problems. Well over the weekend doing some more furniture moving and unpacking I was bad and apparently did not stay up on the drinking and ended up with a stone passing on Monday when the doctor did some test he said I was dehydrated and in combination with all the lifting over the weekend was enough to cause another stone to make a visit.
In other news Donna has been trying to get ahold of the local SCA group but none of her inquiries have been returned. So she is looking at contacting one of the other chapters in the area to see how they respond. While I still haven't had a new face to face game I have started making some acquaintances through a few local message boards and am getting to know some gamers in the area. Other then that I have to go out of town here in a month or so for some training and thats about it. The camera is still AWOL so once we find it I will get those pictures up of the new place.
