We applied to another school--University of Akron Law. It is fairly close to the ROCOR Cathedral, I believe. I am pretty sure, so correct me if I'm wrong, that Parma, OH is about a half hour from Akron. So that would be really neat to go to a cathedral! Isaac called Regent this morning. They are only waiting to receive the letter of recommendation from Fr. Christopher. Once they receive this they will request the LSDAS report. Thank goodness! I just want them to get the report, accept him, and then offer him lots of money and soon! Moving along, Isaac does need to write a scholarship essay for Regent yet. It has to be on Christian Leadership to Change the World. If we can write that and get it in the mail this weekend it would be awesome. I also went ahead and used The National Dean's List Student Referral Service to notify the schools of his acceptance of this award. Who knows if this will amount to anything, but it’s worth a try, right? They, The National Dean's list people, also sent some scholarship application so Isaac needs to fill that out tonight also. I think tonight we are also going to apply to Ohio Northern University School of Law. That would make it six schools. We have so far only paid to apply to two: Capital University and St. Louis University. The other schools either gave us a fee waiver or we've applied online where they offered a free application. We do have to pay $12/LSDAS report though. We didn't get a single thing in the mail yesterday. I can't believe we didn't even get a single piece of junk mail. I've been checking the mail even more quickly lately. You just never know when you'll get something. I have this feeling that Isaac won't get accepted to St. Louis University. I wish it would go away. It would so sad, if the first thing we get from a school is a rejection. SLU should be the first school we get a response from, just because we applied to them first. The data report was sent to them on the 3rd. So that's still fairly recent. Well, I'm going to organize all of these papers and try to come up with some cohesive method of keeping track of all this mess.
Again, please remember us in your prayers. I think I'm beginning to get paranoid.
