[There's a few sounds of him fumbling with his tools, trying to put them away; he's been putting the finishing touches on the repaired barrel teleporter.] I'll be back in-- Give me a sec.

[Rena hasn't left the house yet, and she wouldn't have gotten too far, not in her current condition. She hadn't wanted him to worry since she believed she had caused enough of that already. But it really was a relief though to hear his voice. Through the camera of the journal, he could probably tell she had taken a peek in his room to see if he had been there or not.]

I'll be here. I'm feeling a little better... [She smiled gently at him.] Besides, I've rested for a long while already, right?

[Leon had been working outside, so he keeps looking at the journal as he fits the lid of the barrel back on. He smiles back when he sees Rena's familiar smile, though there's more than a hint of worry in his eyes.]

No headaches? You bumped your head and... [He trails off. He'd been worried she wouldn't wake up at all.

But enough of that. He hurries back inside the house, carrying his book open in front of him. So his voice might echo as he calls.] I'm inside, big sister.

I'll be okay. I used a Heal spell a few minutes ago along with some magic I learned from Nala. [That was what kept her going for now, and any pain she felt before had diminished enough for her to endure. Using magic may have been a bit draining, but gradual healing was better than nothing.

She knew he was right and that she did need to rest. But not without seeing him, not when she needed to check on him, not when she knew she was awake right at this moment.]

Leon... Thank you... [Just seeing him made her feel that much better.]

Thank you? I-- I didn't do anything. [He really didn't. He'd all but panicked when Rena's unconscious body had been pulled out of the rubble, and he would probably have made himself sick with worry if everything else going on hadn't given him distractions.

He hurries to find Rena so the first thing he can do is hug her. It's been way too long for him not to see her awake.]

[She would have protested. If it hadn't been for him, who knew where she would have ended up, how much worse off she could have been, or if she would have woken up at all. But she thought that it didn't need to be said. Once she was found, Rena went to give the younger boy a hug. She needed it as much as he did. It was comforting, safe, warm.

She did her best not to lean too much of her weight on him, and she hoped he didn't mind. She didn't want to let go just yet.]
