What happened in April and May

Obviously, I didn't blog one bit. Haha. I wouldn't say nothing happened, though. I think the past two months have been quite a ride.

April was a welcome breather from the 4-week India-Singapore business trip (well, now that I think of it, I was away the whole month of March). It was a much-needed buffer, work and skills-wise. Back in the relaxed atmosphere of the Ortigas office and the presence of encouraging teammates, I tried sponging up a little more of SAP. It wasn't really exciting but at least it gave me that momentum.

May had definitely more action and drama. This time I flew just to Singapore (as per JM's request, no choice hehehe) and stayed there for two weeks. Where do I begin - hmmm, well among other things I snapped in the middle of work, in the company of (thankfully just HP) teammates, one unbelievably hellish morning. Anyway, that's over, and thankfully I'm one who learns and moves on quickly...

Shortly afterwards -

Lynne: I see your emails are getting a little more feisty...
Me: Hahaha! No more nice and sweet Arlene!
Lynne: Tama yan!

During my second week I got to meet up with Linfred and Steph Co for dinner and dessert. Then a day before I flew back home (just in time for Mother's Day too), Steph and I went to the Esplanade for a round of No Signboard chili crabs and tons of Merlion pictures (last time I was there in March, my camera died on me).

Towards the end of that week, I remember feeling real happy and relieved I was finally going home. Now that one at least, I was able to bargain with JM. Hehehe.
