Janet told us yesterday that our mother told her that had the pro-independence candidate for governor had won in PR, she would have called my idiot brother to look for an apt here in TX.
You know, like she did years ago, and only lasted 6 months at it and ended up going back to PR and living with my aunt and uncle for a few months before she found an apt in another égida. *facepalm* 🤦🏻♀️
My sisters were not amused back then, and trust me, they are not amused now
Janet had to explain that had that candidate won, the island's status would NOT have changed. For PR to suddenly become an independent country, it is up to fucking US congress to do that.
Funny how Mami said she would call my brother and not me. I told my sisters that and Lillian said "she knows you would have told her a few things about that plan."

Also, I have been watching video after video about how regretful some people are now after voting for Drump. What the hell were you expecting?
