I don't know if anybody will actually have any questions but this seems to be on a lot of other people's journals so I will put it here. Arlen really doesn't lie much anyway but there are things he does not talk about very much

ohoho I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ARLEN THINKS OF HIS TEAPOT HAVING A NAME.

also: what does he think will happen when/if he finds his dude? how realistic is his view?

XD I know he didn't say anything about it but as an alchemist he understands that giving it a name will kind of shape its being and stuff. The teapot is a fasinating experiment and he's willing to study it and watch it kind of evolve from what he's done.

Hee! I guess you mean his partner Einrich? You can see my answer to Sarahmun above for more about Arlen and Einrich. He would like to think they will just pick up their partnership but he really knows that is probably not what will happen. He has changed so he figures Einrich has probably changed too, and sometimes he's even a little angry at him so he's kind of worried their reunion will be an ugly fighty one. He is right about that but he doesn't realize just how big and fighty it will probably be because Einrich unchecked has become really a sort of a monster. I don't quite mean that literally.

Also your character is awesome! I will have to watch the movie again now.

Yessss him. That is sort of the impression I'd got, too; I enjoy how much reading between the lines goes on with Arlen, it's totally fascinating to watch.

I'm kind of glad she named it since it needed one and it would be out of character for him to. Now both my characters have little sidekicks.

Thank you! Arlen was my first character ever so he has had time for a lot of backstory to develop. I always feel kind of funny that his relationship with Einrich defines him so much but it is all something that happened offscreen.

He is going to set up a glassworks and lab in the Nexus labs and will be working there a lot for a while. She should visit but also he will have an assistant who will spaz if he ever meets her I guess. You would have to talk to Shadowmun about it because he plays him. Also also I need to write Arlen's next letter back.

\m/! Little sidekicks are awesome. Nuala just has a collection of cranky men who sometimes do what she says. Other times they steal her shoes and push her in the pool.

He's v. compelling! I actually like that aspect; the sense that there is a much larger story and picking at the threads of it. (Tho, I have a character who's a widow, and basically all that's been seen of this relationship that was so defining is the end of it when he died, so earlier today I was actually writing things for them to...show more. So yyyyy I can get behind that.)

She will totally visit :]! idk when she's going to be available properly again yet, but IT WILL HAPPEN. Also letters are my FAVOURITE EVER THING, I have such plans for some things involving Nuala's letters. (Just background stuff that is only interesting to me, mind you.) I should give y'all my AIM or something.

XD Arlen is not a cranky man at least? But he cannot rescue her from a pool. He sinks.

I want to kind of try to write out his story, maybe for NaNoWriMo this fall which I have never done before. It will all be after Einrich too but he would find him again in it.

The letter thing is so cool I like it! I can see Arlen writing letters back and forth. Having another friend is good for him because he is still learning how that works. I think it's funny both his friends are girls though. My AIM is D Schreber but I am not on a lot because there is a lot of keyboard sharing in this house.

I will look for you the next time I have the keyboard to myself but yesterday because of the plot thingy starting in the Nexus I had to keyboard share a lot.
