Each year, Europe's postal administrations issue stamps on a common theme. This being the 400th anniversary of the year Galileo first stuck his eye into a telescope, the stamps have a starry look.
Most of them have followed predictable designs. Unfortunately nobody thought to invent photography in the 17th century, so all we have is the same old drawing of Galileo gazing at some constellation or other.
Ireland, however, has come up with a couple of cracking designs.
So my advice to President Obama is this: if you're ever planning a moon landing, send an Irishman.
