Selling the City

It's 25 years since Glasgow rebranded itself with the launch of a new slogan: Glasgow's Miles Better.  The campaign was a big success and played a significant part in the city's regeneration.  I'm always interested to see the slogans and mottoes used by other cities around the world.  Some are dull, some are inspired, and some - hello Austin - are downright weird.  A selection of the old and new:

Las Vegas:  What Happens Here, Stays Here.
Hershey: The Sweetest Place on Earth.
Omaha:  Rare. Well Done.
Edinburgh: Inspiring Capital
Covina, California: One Mile Square and All There
Eagle Pass, Texas:  Where Yee-Ha Meets Olé.
Montreal: The More You Kiss, The Frencher It Gets
Peculiar, Missouri:  Where the Odds Are With You
Madrid: Mad About You
Melbourne: Me!bourne City
Amsterdam: IAmsterdam
Rotterdam: YouRotterdam
Walla Walla,  Washington: The City Was So Nice They Named It Twice
St Louis, Missouri:  There’s More Than Meets the Arch.
London: Totally LondON
Atlanta: Every Day is an Opening Day
Austin:  Keep Austin Weird.
Baltimore: Get it on
Dunedin: It's All Right Here

And my own personal favourite from Timewell, Illinois:
Time Spent in Timewell is Time Well Spent.
