Dearest darlingest everyone,
Housing Works Bookstore is having a geeksale! It's not too shabby you guys. Comics, books, DVDs, all super-cheap even before the discount. I alllmost snagged the box set of The Prisoner, and I may yet if nobody else does.
The nice thing about the comics table, too, is because this was all donated by other geeks the collections are pretty broad. Think full sets of Crisis runs, near complete Civil War or Batman: RIP or even Blackest Night. Lots of indie and small-publisher stuff, loads of Moore and Miller and Gaiman miscellany titles. Also at least a little bit of every single Vertigo title I had ever heard of and many I had not. (Swamp Thing, wat?)
You guys should go check it out!! *^* Buy some stuff so they will restock and I can shuffle through it all again.
And I know I promised photos etc., it's just hard to sit down and do things at home this week. I get home at like 9pm and want to do nothing at all. Soon, right? yeah. soon.
