The vice-principal of Laid-Back and Open-Minded Backwoods Elementary told me today that I was the best ALT he'd ever had at his school.
And then I sailed through my three classes at said school as smooth as butter, introduced myself to the five new 1st-graders, and had a great time. Even the 6th graders, who'd been bored with the same old material last time we did it, had fun with the way I presented it this time.
These kids are interesting and interested. It makes them very easy to teach.
