Surgery...
Well, I had my gall bladder surgery today. Got there about 9, they had me back with the doctor/anethesiologist around 10:30. Next thing I remember they're wheeling me into my recovery room. I wasn't in there too long before they told me I could go. Think we got home just before 2pm. Not bad considering I'm short an entire organ now :P
My abdomen is pretty tender (probably will be more tender tomorrow), as is my throat from the tube they had in me, but overall, not as bad as I thought (I reserve the right to revise this statement in the coming days...heh). I'm really glad it's over. Whenever you do something like that, you have this insane nervousness just before they zonk you out like you might never wake up. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to trying some of my old favorite foods again. This soup/toast/etc has been driving me nuts.
