Torpa Stenhus
a local castle, is holding a 2 day Medieval Event this July 20-21 and I and my friends will be selling there!!! Me in garb with my friend and her 2 kids as well! At a real castle! Selling my historical handcrafted bags! Man, I really can relate to Amy Farrah Fowler when she says "I wish I could go back and tell my younger self that it really does get better!"
Torpa Stenhus (literally Torpa Stone House) remains from what was a substantial fortified complex on the Ätran River, strategically placed to stop marauding Danes from heading all the way up river. There are also some more modern buildings in the area, including a cafe.
