Lots of books (I need to review more often!)

Book 52:  Richard K. Morgan - Woken Furies,  Book 3 of the Takeshi Kovacs series.  Cyberpunk.  4 stars.

While the Takeshi Kovacs books remain dark in nature due to their cyberpunk theme, this third novel seemed to be the darkest of the three.  Kovacs is revived on his homeworld of Harlan's World this time

I do need to read more non-fiction though. These teeny books I've been reading don't last any longer than a romance novel.

Try reading 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' or 'The Name of the Wind'. Even as fast as I read I had to slow down for those!

I'm glad you liked 'The Becoming', although there are nuances in that and the follow up that annoy me greatly, it is a big change from the usual.

There's so much of the LKH knockoffs out there that it was nice to see something a bit different with The Becoming... hopefully the series will hold up but so many of them collapse after the third book or so.
