Weekend's Don't Last Long Enough
Now for a real update, instead of terrifying poor Bear when he gets online to find a baby shower half-planned...
My Aquamoms class Saturday did wonders for my hip pain, which has only started creeping back this morning. Since I'm going again tonight, hopefully it will continue to help. I had fun, although even in a bathing suit no one seems to believe I'm only 9 weeks from delivery already. I'm hoping I can budget for a gym membership in June or so, since there's a good place here in town that has an indoor pool as well (plus all the other equipment that Bear can enjoy). We'll have to see.
We made a trip out to Benton Saturday afternoon to visit a really good resale shop out there that heavily specializes in baby stuff, but their hours have changed, so we just missed them being open. So we drove by the old house while we were out there and wonder of wonders, it is still empty after landlady harrassed us into MOVE, WE'RE SELLING! No for sale signs either.
Sunday I got to see my former co-worker friend at her shower. She looks really great for carrying twins and seems to be doing very well. We are due the same week but obviously she will probably have her babies first - a boy and a girl. Saw some other former co-workers there and everyone made me promise to let them know when Lenae arrives. I told them unless she has other ideas, I'll send out a mass email on April 12th to say she's getting her eviction notice tomorrow. ;-)
J2 had a fever all day yesterday, with some random coughing, but seemed better by bedtime. No fever this morning when I checked, but J1 had a low fever instead. But Bear said they are feeling okay and no more fever when he checked. Good to hear - folks just keep getting sick around me. It's a 3-person office here and I'm the only one not out sick today!
