Comcast is run by Morons

Comcast decided that breaking their streak last month (their streak being screwing up our cable service somehow) was enough. They finally got their tech out yesterday to adjust our service now that we are sans roommate. It wasn't hard... we'd already turned in all the equipment except Bear's modem, so all the tech had to do was put a trap on the line so that we only pick up 58 channels plus one cable modem.

What did the moron tech do? Blocked the cable modem and left us with 99 channels. Can't even blame the contractor company this time - this service call was a Comcast tech.

Plus they charged us like $40 for the priviledge and will probably try to charge us ANOTHER service call to come out and fix the issue today.

I should have cut off things last month like I wanted to, but someone insisted they had to have the HBO package for one more month. Comcast is being extra pissy because I haven't paid the bill yet, but I wasn't counting on having to pay as much of it as I now have to, so I have to wait til Friday to have the extra. *sighs*

Note to self. Next time, do it MY way, no matter who gets their feelings hurt or pissed off at me.

In other news - job is going GREAT!!! So only cable to gripe about today.
