Glee - Dream On - OMG WOW!

Hi, my name is Tom, and it's been two minutes since I sang my last showtune. SCREW THAT! I knew I was getting old when I started relating to "I dreamed a dream" more than "on my own." I even sing that Tiger harmony thanks to Pedas pulling out the Les Mis medley...those harmony lines have never left me.

In short, I loved this week's Glee!

The whole rivalry scene with Matty Morrison in Ugly Betty Braces...AMAZING! Seeing the 80's made me flash back to my own high school days. I only wish it was that cliche!

The impromptu musical phenomenon shout out.... WOW. Safety Dance. YES! It always make me think of Cindy Burd singing it and me getting ready for the clap-clap. I loved seeing Isaac Tualauleile from Heavy Impact in the initial group made my heart sing! (I looked for Stephan Isileli Tuifua... but sadly didn't see him. I love my big guys, and those boys got some smooth moves!) Seeing Kevin McHale get up and dance was hella fun. And I mean hella!! It was so obvious that it was a dream sequence I teared up when he said, "I'm gonna dance someday."

Matty Morrison and Neal Patrick Harris doing Dream On? That was perfect choice for Matty. Amazing song.

The whole mom plot took a really nice turn for the better. It took something unanswered, potentially malicious, and turned it into something rather sweet. All they need to do is twist the knife again, and I think it'll be some decent writing.

I dreamed a dream. The camerawork...awesome! When the "younger" Idina, i.e. Rachel, steps out from behind her and continued the song, I knew I would be downloading as fast as I can.

And the ending? Dream a little dream... CRUEL. I love tragedy, and that was just pure tragedy... What a great way to really tell Artie's story.

Updates: Still love Heather Morris. See! His name is Mike Chang, and there you go Todd! more of him to look at. And of course, my true dorkiness at work:

The books on the bookshelf:

Someone needs to educate that librarian. Obviously she's there for the random musical outbursts of potential church acts.

Hope you all enjoyed it!
