Ashville Fest
This just came across my desk so I'm advertising ;^)

This is a wonderful weekend event 20 minutes (maybe) south of
Columbus, only about 2 hours North of Cincinnati featuring many of
the same lovable vikings found at the Ohio Renaissance festival.
Admission is just a canned good! Last year was the first year for
this new Festival and attendance was 4,000 people!

There will be a variety of entertainment,including music, dance, and
swordplay.
Also on hand: crafts demonstrations,period merchandise to buy, a
variety of food, and a children's area with crafts and storytellers.
Canned food donation to the Ashville Food Pantry is requested.
After the festival on Saturday night, The new version of Minstrel
Woode (who are also performing at the viking fest itself!) will be
performing at the STAGECOACH BBQ & BLUES (yummy food incredible
chocolate chip bread pudding! sigh) in Ashville Ohio. Proceeds from
this special concert will go to WORLD HUNGER YEAR (WHY). $5 cover
charge, Also please bring your food donations to the evening concert
as the Vikings will be collecting there as well.
In special consideration for this cause, MINSTREL WOODE will be
joined on-stage for the evening performance by MW co-founder and
former member RAY SMELTZER (Tanner).
In addition we will be recording the show for possible inclusion in a
future Minstrel Woode CD! Make sure to bring your big Viking Voices
to the show.......
