So itʻs been like five years since I even logged into this account? I honestly thought it had been purged lol.
This post is to make an announcement in regards to my early fiction writing.
I got started in fanfiction with RPF, but I no longer care for it, and in fact a lot of my work thatʻs posted here gives me a 30%-50% burn of embarrassment within my psyche. But thatʻs also just because any writerʻs gonna have problems with their old stuff.
I spent the better part of the last two hours going through my old tags and placing new disclaimers on all my RPF stories. I originally was going to delete everything, but the truth is these stories and this place catalogs a period of growth and learning in my life. Thereʻs sweet memories attached to the cracked-out fics I wrote for my friends. I was a very silly, very wildly imaginative little lesbian and my new world online was shiny and loud. Iʻve learned better perspective and restraint since then, and hopefully better writing techniques.
IN CONCLUSION Iʻm leaving this account open as a history of my beginnings as a writer, with the kernel of a true, honest-to-goodness novel currently being written in my heart and very slowly transferred to a word file.
