(no subject)
Only 2 days of work this week, then we are going home!!!! Thursday is family BBQ day, Friday...??, Saturday is Caving, and sunday is probely BBQ with Erik's family. Carol, my schedule is getting full! Jamie is due on the 1st!! I want to see her too! Maybe you could come with me to see her. I checked the weather, and it will be a comfortable high 80's, low 90's!!! Here it is still 100+!
This weekend, we did some stuff. Erik ran the "Keep Austin Weird 5K", and I volunteered at the event, then we ate dinner with a couple from my work, Cindy and Mike. And then yesterday, we went to the "Bamboo Festival" not really as interesting as it sounds, then we went to the Hot Sauce Festival, but quickly left when we found out we'd have to stand in long lines for each sample in the hot sun, and drinks were $4!! And we also went and visited the REI store!! Wow! We've done more this weekend than we have in our time here since May.
