(no subject)
I feel excited today. Sunday, we are going to go to a ranch about 30min. away and CLIMB!! I can't wait! It's going to feel great! We are going to need to leave at...I don't know, 5:00AM. Have to beat the heat! I've been waking up, and have been reading the Baxter Bulletin online. It seems sad, but it makes me feel better. It doesn't depress me, I enjoy it. I tried reading the Austin Statesman online, but they want my E-mail, and they can't have it. We have yet to turn on the A/C, yet our electric bill was outrageous!
My caving mentor, Dave is awake from the coma!!! I can't believe it! It's a miracle!! He's still very sick, but this is such a great improvement. Keep praying.
Erik asked me if I wanted the learn Chinese, and move to China for a few years. I told him, only if we don't have to live in the city anymore. We are SLOWLY learning the basics of Chinese the past week or so. It's hard and incredibly funny.
We went to a state park last Sunday.We got there about 8:00A.M. and went way out onto the falls and found a perfect spot on a boulder that had an old cyprus hanging over, it was like an island in the river, and practiced our Qigong. It was perfect. We grew up where the dominate elements were earth, water, and wood, and we've moved to the city which is metal and fire. So it was so refreshing! and, because it was a state park, it was a lot cleaner. Then, we saw a goat, and called out to them and erik thought it was the goat, and said, "It made a goaty sound!" and I said, "no, that was me!" and he said it was an impressive goat sound...fun.
