(no subject)
Today is yet another extremely hot and dry day in Austin. If only I had something to do. I have worked on several little projects and read books and rented a movie, and still I have so much extra time. If I were in Arkansas right now, I'd be outside! Maybe I'd go fishing or take a canoe on the lake and go fishing. Or hang out with Carol, go climbing or caving!! Or shop at the cheap thrift stores! Or hang out with my folks! Or wash my car in the driveway, or play with Dylan and Ian, or go on a walk and practice identifying wild flowers, plants, and insects, or go swimming in the lake, or ride a bike, or do throw some pottery on the wheel, or BBQ, or hang out at our shop, or help my brother wash some cars, or maybe I'd be giving cave tours at Blanchard!! But, unfortunately I can't really do any of that here due to the fact that it's too dangerous to go on a hike by myself and there is no lake, and a canoe costs money, and I didn't bring my potter's wheel, etc., etc., etc......
