All told, it's not been a very happy day geek wise, tho; R thoughtfully upgraded my music archive hard drive recently, but less than two weeks out and it's got grievous click of death issues. The same model of drive got used in a recent media server upgrade as well, but that's been knocked offline for a few days now, as one of the drives in the RAID array mysteriously failed. My own drive upgrade was recent, so i am essentially backed up with the old drive- but a failure of the media server will take a considerable amount of work to rebuild. Also vexing was my purchase of one of the shiny new Magic Mice from Apple- I went thru an Amazon affiliate to share the love, so to speak, but the bloody thing only shipped yesterday- talk about unkind.
Since the DST rollback, Beth's taken to awakening at the crack of 6 am, as well as fun tricks like taking 40 minutes to put to bed last night. thats the problem with a nearly perfect baby - the time she does something less than perfect is all the more traumatic to the parents...
