Tripping out! cont.
Finally finished this long haul road trip! it was a more fun mountain trail for the last day through Washington. the border gave us no trouble at all as we passed through to Vancouver and further north to the Ferry at Horsehoe bay, SALT AIR! oh MAN!! i missed it sooo much, you would not believe. going over the ferry was so nostalgic, cept it only took an hour and a half. we arrived that night and spent it at a best western. lost my laptop adapterat the last hotel, and had to buy this crappy new thing that barely fits and doesn't charge the laptop hardly at all, but manages to keep it on at least.
Next day we're arriving at Comox, Dec. tenth is here, and we got our pMQi'd tell you waht its like, but i barely know. has a 3 bedroom upstairs, kitchen and living room with porch downstairs and a nice basement. Comox has not a sight of snow. I only managed to see the palce for a half hour. why? because that's when my flight home leaves! BOOM unpacked the car, BOOM packed for the flight, and out the door i went, rushing and flustered to meet the timing at the airport.
I arrived in Halifax on Dec. 11th 2:00am. at 2:22am I entered the apartment 222. that is freak out. Sean is awesome. Came up and we chatted for hours as he arrivedaround 5am. we chatted until near 11 when might flight left, and he seen me off to it, before i hit sydney. everyone in my family met me there! nothing like coming off a plane and being wrapped in the arms or my niece and kissed vehemently. Mom took me and the niece to swiss chalet as craig and dad finished their pop run.
I slept near all of the following day. first break i've gotten in a while, and i still didn't recover completely. I GMed a bit that night. nothing special. one of my players decided to solo a random rift, leaving the other party members behind. She's been stuck in a simulation of her own life by her own doing for the rest of the game. We have bets on how long it takes for her to notice that she's not home yet
Spent most of today doing errands and getting things ready for the shippers tomorrow. so MUCH TO DO!!
ran Craig around, bought dad a new laptop for mom, future shop service blows! We ran around getting service people 5 or 6 times, and they ignored us, so we had to leave so Wendy would be on time for her dental appointment. went back that night and we got service right away. wtf was with teh 20 minutes of waiting that morning?
anyway, triple core, 1.9Ghz, 640GB, @ 4GB not too bad stats for the price they got it at. easily better than mine. the GHz obviously could be better, but can't have everything. i figure the triple core will provide what dad needs for it anyway.
Darky's game is cancelled yet again. DAMN YOU RL! DAMN YOU TO HECK!
Matthew can't hang out either of the days i have left to hang out. and i don't know any of Jackie's contact info. guess i'm seeing no one before i go back on the 15th.
