Sheesh.
Well this week was B's birthday week extravaganza. Tuesday we went to B's moms where she made chikins and cheesecake. On Wed we went to B's Dads house where we ate Pot roast and Chocopeanut butter cake.mmmmmmm.. Then Thursday, the actual day, I came home, and B opened his presents, then we got fucked up and went to Rock Bottom. This was the cheapest I've ever gotten away with a birthday for him. I bought him a Scion model..sweet, a few classic car mags, Bruce Campbells new book, and a few other things. Dinner only set me back 40 bux! Well, it's comperable to MY birthday where B was sick the entire time, and my dinner Consisted of Cracker Barrel. I'm not complaining about CB, just that this was two years in a row where he was sick for my BDay. So as usual luck turns out for B, and I'm still faced with shitty outlooks.
On the home front, I leave next thursday morning. I'm planning on stopping in Buffalo for Breakfast, and then another 5 hours until home. I booked our hotel in Montreal. $150 a night in downtown. The only benefit to this is that it's in close walking distance to the clubs we're going to, and it has a full kitchen and a indoor pool on the roof. Sweeet. Now if only I can adjust to being away from B for five days. I think I'll manage.
Tonight we're supposed to go to the Pirate game. I dunno If I want to sit in the damp rainy seats. I may go to my friends daighters birthday party. She's 2! I already bought her a cute outfit from Target, but I wanted to get her something else. I don't know which is going to be easier to afford.
Remember that promotion at work, well my manager pulled me into her office to ask me if I wanted it. I said yes. She said she couldn't promise anything, but it's lookin reaaaall good.
