I have just finished this dammed book and I'm crushed. It was so exciting and pretty during 3/4 of the story and then... It was heartbreaking. It was too much, I can't even begin to understand why it ended like this, why Oliver has had the life he still has or why the book didn't end after the summer. Seeing a lifetime of regret like this is hard and I wasn't prepared for it.
