I MET JAMIE BAMBER!!!!!!!!!!!

May 12, 2017 00:48

I met Jamie Bamber. I met Jamie Bamber. I met Jamie Bamber. I met Jamie Bamber. I met Jamie Bamber. I met Jamie Bamber TODAY!!!! And it was something unexpected AND I AM JUMPING ON THE COUCH AT 00.30h!!

He came to present his new film (Money) at a city nearby and I had the best luck and read the cinema's magazine last week and found out! (I wouldn't have known otherwise -I no longer hang on fansites so much and these things with people that are not so much known on Spain are barely addvertised.)

Of course, I love him from BSG: his was one of my favourite characters. I shipped him with a lot of people. I loved Lee and then I loved Jamie because once you know him you can do nothing but love him (he's so intelligent and polite and nice, and has so much to say on probably any subject).

Back on the day, when we were fangirling all day long around BSG, I loved a bunch of characters from the show on different stages, but Lee was the one that stucked the most, probably. I wrote fanfiction with him with at least 4 different pairings. One of my favourite wallpapers was one my best friend made for me with him on it (him and my OTP for him). It came to the point where I was told I would probably be straight for him. LOL So, yes, I DO LOVE LEE. And I love Jamie too.

So there I was this evening sitting on the cinema, and when the movie ended there he walked in and there he stood less than 10 meters from me and started talking about the movie or something like that. My heart was pounding on my chess so strong I was afraid I was going to be sick. I don't know, maybe it was just that I wasn't really prepared to be there. Until a couple of days ago I wasn't thinking I would go (this is a busy time for me so it wasn't the best time for this kind of drama) and this is not like a convention where you know you have paid for a minute with him, a signature and a picture: I wasn't even sure I was going to have him so near or if I could ask for an autograph, so it took me by suprise.

But it was great. I loved it, loved it, loved it. All the way back home (it's an hour drive) I was nearly breaking the radio with the volume and it was kind of hard to not speed a little bit. I still have so much energy on my body! Wow. And here I was thinking I wasn't still such a fangirl. Dammit.
