Hi, there!
I miss you so much, guys, that I can't even... I miss the 'light-hearted fun' of BSG, the icons, the memes, communities, all of you being a geeky little friendly web around me. :)
So I'm still watching some TV stuff. These last days I've been enjoying CW's 'The Flash', and I must say he's becoming one of my favourite superheroes. =) Sure I love Batman (who doesn't?) but characters like Flash, Aquaman and Wonderwoman make life more fun -maybe that's why I never was a fan of comics: because most of the superheroes take themselves too seriously. Did you know Ninja Turtles were born like a joke? Well, that's my kind of game!
SPOILERS for Arrow (3x09) and The Flash (1x09) so far
I started watching 'The Flash' quite relunctantly (both because I didn't feel like starting yet another TV show and because the first two episodes felt really weak), but once on the third episode I felt swallowed by it. I LOVE IT and I can't wait for more. In the time I spent catching up on the show (because I needed to do it before going on with Arrow, my first love), I became such a fan that I didn't even want to go back to Arrow. Then, of course, I watched Arrow's winter finale and...
OMG WHAT'S GOING ON???? I did NOT see that coming. I am so looking forward to see what happens next (ideas are poping into my head already, of course). Also, I miss Sarah (did she really have to die? I do not need Laurel on her skin, I wanted her! I loved her! Not Laurel ¬¬' although, I must say, she's become less of a pain in the ass lately). And Tommy. And Moira. And I do not like what's going on between Oliver and Felicity (who believes that?).
Speaking of which... What do you think about Barry and her love? Aren't they like... half-siblings? It felt weird to me at first but now that I see everyone on the show talking about it that naturally I don't know what to think.
Also, I like Barry a lot. He's such a good guy! And it's nice to see the moment he gets mad the only thing he does is beat the crap out of the guy who stole 'his' girl (something we all wanted to do some time).
When I started watching Arrow I thought he was my kind of superheroe, but now that I know Flash I am convinced that he is more of my style. I hope this new trend of the CW and Marvel will keep its path so that I know more of them (I never was an avid comic reader, although it's never too late to start).
Oh, and I forgot to say how I am absolutely in love with Starlord! (From 'Guardians of the Galaxy', the best film of the year. LOL)
Love you, guys
xoxo
