Absolutely no casting or production news, but it's worth noting that The Official Site is actively encouraging people - country of origin no object - to vote repeatedly in the National Telly Awards. *Says it all ( Read more... )

Not THAT secret....:)

(though I have to admit, I'd have loved Luke/Gilmore if the editors had had the courage of their convictions. Sure Gilmore was worth better, but that's life, people don't always fall for the right one.)

It's not the "wrong one" aspect that bugged me - in fact I think that part makes perfect sense. Angst=good, and Confused Young Chap Angst even more so.

It was the fact that Gilmore, this strong, sensible man who we'd *seen* being more than able to handle emotional wack and the temptation to unprofessionalism, turned into a wet-knickered schoolgirl *and behaved accordingly for no apparent reason*. (which of course led to him being ficced like that for the most part)

I'm afraid that will always rankle... ;-) It'd be like... oo, I dunno, making Ramani da Costa fall madly for Honey the Bungalow. Oy.
