Aaaahhh home again... at last... hello LJ my darling
First day of the year. Not making new masterlists, 'cos I seem to have forgotten about last year's and not posted here for ages. In the absence of study I'll try and fix that - without study, I don't need to be on flippin' Facebook at all. Rotten place - but while I can't abandon it totally, I can make a start on resuming social back here. So hello everyone, at long last, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all that and so on. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of this place reasonably quickly. (There is no "fandom" on FB... not in the sense there is here... I've missed that... it's all some kind of weird joint soliloquy/non-sequiteur over there.)
Not much to say - spent today indulging in one of my pet loves, the Scottish soapie Take The High Road... only ever saw the 1990-1992 eps, I think... about ten years ago now. But I'm finally getting to see it from episode 1 (1980). LOVELY STUFF. Small and hypnotic.
So: TTHR, reading the Ellis run of "The Authority", swimming, and waiting for last night's leftovers to warm up. Very much enjoying a people-free, social-free, obligation-free day.
