Busy busy
1. Mum saw radiation oncologist, and FINALLY nailed down some kind of time frame. No brain metastases, the mouth anomaly isn't, and we're probably talking about a year.

2. Lovely bushwalk in the Brindabellas below Bendora Arboretum yesterday - light to moderate rain, 10 degrees cooler than on the flat. Only 12k, wasn't going to take the camera but did in the end. Dinner at in-laws' after; quite pleasant. MiL looking very well and chipper, and eating properly for the first time in ages... she's even being openly - if mildly - flippant about the recommendations of that holistic centre thing of hers. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Can't possibly admit the actual-doctor-actual-course-of-actual-antibiotics just after Christmas has anything to do with it :)
Fine while walking, quite sore this morning. Which is why I'd checked ahead to make sure I'd be working from home today. Only...
2. Phone call at 8:45 - boss not able to get hold of 5 employees, could I come in? Okaaay. Panic ensues. 5 mins later, she rings back: only for half a day. Bit better. Lucky I'd just done my first set of physio, or she'd have had no chance :) Anyway: nice easy session as relief staff (nice easy break work, washing up, making afternoon tea etc), fixed the printer (AGAIN - my colleagues seem to think any tech problem means "it needs more ink", even when the cartridges are full), back home by 12:30.
Hugged to death upon walking into the PSR, but I ain't complaining :)
3. Policy updates proceeding apace. This gets more complicated every year - the way things are going they'll all be 85 pages long by the next CCMS amendment.
Web presence has created a novel problem; now when links in our policy biblios are out of date/sources have moved, Googling the article title is bringing up...our policy documents :). 11 down, 29 to go.
