Pretty much what Mum went through with my half-brother - although that was SA. She only knew he was a boy because she screamed up a storm until they told her :(

That's just so... awful. :( I know someone from Ohio, probably about your Mum's age (because her baby was born about the same year I was), who's parents forced her to give up her baby, but I don't think they handcuffed her to the bed or anything.
