Long weekend
Whacked self on head with hawthorn pruning today - hurts like crazy, didn't realise till later there was 7mm of thorn embedded in it! Ow.
Haven't done much over the holiday, I must admit - lots of Lego Technic; finished my Tractor, and - having blown the budget a bit, to cheer ourselves up - started the new model (Mobile crane, but I really only bought it to build the secondary model - Harbour Crane. About 1/3 of the way through.
Reorganised shared areas of house, cleaned out study, threw out lots of things, especially old VHS... should junk all the old Doctor Who videos but it's just too hard - not all on DVD yet, don't own most of them on DVD in any case, and crikey, what an emotional and monetary investment :( they're such an integral part of adolescence etc, so many years of loving them to death it's just impossible to chuck them out. Silly to hang on to them, though, isn't it? only...
See also 10 years worth of Doctor Who Magazine :( and don't even get me started on the need for a Book Cull.
Almost no telly, but caught up on films - Irina Palm (lovely!) and Fallen Angels; got hold of Dexter 5.1 - bit slow & too much emo for my liking, but it's picking up toward the end. Still prefer Book!everyone though. Vastly.
