ETA: is it just me, or is that endless friggin' voiceover on Dexter not only annoying, but repetitive and insulting to the audience's intelligence? Does a disservice to the character...
Looooooooooooooong day. Mr ADHD/ODD's mad nanna has taken the advice of the interstate Centre known for big bills and telling people what they want to hear and changed his meds (from Ritalin to a drug that the local schools' transition lady's experience suggests is usually switched back from very rapidly); two days in and he's off the fuckin' planet again. Worst part is that *he knows it*. You can see him getting upset and frustrated because everything he was actually able to do for the first time, ever - listen, follow sequences, understand and *enjoy* - is now out of his reach again, and there's nothing he **can** do but scream and hit and scream and run and scream and scream some more.
We had to send him home. For his sake. Damn the woman.
Plus it's hot; plus I rode - idiot - and got home after 7; plus oh I don't know. General shit, including one newish parent breaking down because Room Leader had put one of our nutrition notes on something in her kid's lunchbox (I was bunny on the spot)... just want to go to bed.
On the other hand: that damn recipe meme is nagging at me. Going to try stuffing tomatoes tonight! wish me luck...
