The plan was: get up early, bushwalk, dinner with parents-in-law, leaves tomorrow for Us. The reality was: very bad; slept in.
Cleaned mouse shit out of cutlery drawer instead (again). Oh well. Guess I'll just have to sit here in the sun and install Sims 3. (Does one need to have mastered 2? Never got round to buying that...)
Thank you Skins s3 for reminding me about the Au Pairs. Finally got hold of the Stepping Out of Line compilation and it's brought back lots of lovely memories... late-late-night radio when the local community station took a feed from Sydney 2JJ... too many fags and too much coffee, out in the back cabin on the Apple II for all-night-essay-finishing sessions using fucking Wordstar or fucking about with shape tables or hey, just lazing about coding mazes for the ex's Amiga with Doctor Who on soft in the background (*man* us 80s teens knew how to have fun ;p)
