Made it to tribal level on Spore - finally. Blame my butterfly mind, more interested in creating than sticking with any one mutation :) (Plus I actually made something that Kills Stuff, 'cos he has to or starve)
Aspergers/autism seminar: worth attending. Only get to go to one day of the three - for shame. Still, prompted some good ideas about how to deal with Mr ODD/ADHD (rather than Mr Epi/Aut or Mr RDA)... although on the latter front, I am *definitely* introducing a "my turn to talk" visual.
Child. psych speaker refreshingly, frankly anti- use of ODD label (in the way I suspect it's being used for my little chap). Context, hem hem. Nice to hear someone else say it.
Once again struck by similarity of general-collection-of-spectrum-symptoms to childhood & teenage behaviour of self/hubby/most of our close friends (disproportionately high numbers of programmers, librarians, and Doctor Who obsessive fans). Heh.
Hmmmmm :) actually looking at possible genetic stuff an' comorbidities an' that (?) raises some interesting questions about Miss Niece's mindblowing inability to function on a social level. It looks like a choice, or series of choices (boy does it!), but...?
