And in today's news...

Funny what you find floatin' past the soap cakes... here's the latest from the wonderful world of The Bill. For the uninitiated: file under I Look Up This Crukk So You Don't Have To.

(Oh now, you'll thank me if they ever drag Jim back...)

LATE EDIT: a quick look at Billbios tells me PC Token Lance is out. Surely not... isn't he Marquess' poster boy?

Let's see now... amid heaps of publicity about him being black gay and Christian (but not defined or limited by this), he joined, said he was gay, put Sheelagh on the road to Babylon (closer to Wapping than Damascus), got targeted by Violent Homophobic Persons, was kidnapped by Concerned Christian Friends on his wedding day, and married a gun-toting macho boy with eyes to die for. According to The Sun, 16 June 2005, TPTB say "There isn't much more we could do with Lance."

Now... wasn't that exactly what they told Mark Wingett... because Jim was a middle-aged white straight guy? (Daily Record, 16 Feb 2005)

On with the motley.

324: Smiffy and a bolshie witness end up snogging, apparently as a result of some out-of-character Lifestyle Jealousy. DC Nadir (I still say the production team are trying to tell us something with that name), who's been on the patch 5 minutes, knows she is a High Profile Gangster's Wife. Smiffy, who's been there for years, hasn't a clue. Despite her having the same last name an' all.

Honey and Amber go Handbags; the former, clearly utterly secure in her position despite the whole Hubby Is A Murderer Awaiting Conviction thing, abandons an obbo to buy Icky Phil's bastard child a birthday cake... or something. *Care*. Icky Phil's brat is moving to Australia. Let's hope daddy goes too.

And in the nine-hundred-and-fortieth June Warns Sheelagh Off Gabriel Scene, there's a Bitchy Reference To the Failed Marriage. Gasp. Speaking of failure, both irritating middle-aged harpies continue not to fall under very large buses. This just isn't good enough.

325:

Roger and Nadsac do some Actual Police Work. Nadir's poking about for stuff on the Gangster's Tart; Smiffy's just poking her, period. And he isn't dumb after all... apparently she's only just come to Sun Hill for some mysterious reason *yawn*

Terry Time, Terry Time, yay! but it's all bound up with Ben's court case. I.E. dragging up all that childhood abuse yet again. bla bla bla. Ah well, at least it's angst about someone I like. I'd love to see Kate Orman get her hands on this fella...

*thinks*: ooooo. Now there's a thought. Seventh Doctor/Terry Perkins, anyone?

Elsewhere: Icky Phil emotes about the emigrating brat. Spare us.
