I'm Back!!
Wow it has been forever since I updated but everyone is bugging me to do so, so here you go! Last time I updated I had a new job and guess what??!! Same thing again! As pretty much everyone knows (including those at Stop & Shop when I went to visit Alex who was ready to announce it on the intercom) I intern for the Dr. Phil show. It's a blast! I mostly work with their audience department so I check people into the show, seat them, and get them pumped up before the show. But I also fill in where needed. I worked in the control room a couple of weeks ago which was awesome and I've filled in as an audience member when they needed more people for 2 shows; which means that I will be on tv because I talked to the kid that used to intern in this department because he was in the control room during one of those shows and told me they recorded close-ups of me so I'll be on. I'll let you all know when the shows will air as soon as I find out!
Right now I'm applying all over the place for a paying job since internships in this field are non-paid. I went to the UPS store around the corner from me and this hot guy that gave me the application said he wouldn't give it to his boss unless I thumb-wrestled him. I told him I haven't done that since 8th grade and needless to say I lost. So I asked for a rematch and lost, which at that point he pretended to rip up my app. but then said he was just kidding and he would give it to his boss tomorrow when he's in. So it seems like it would be a fun place to work suprisingly!
When I was home for the weekend, another surprise, I went to Hurricane O'Reilley's in Boston with Lisa, Raffaella, and Lisa's friend Mary from work. It was a blast. When we got there Raffaella had her eye on this guy but he wasn't noticing her and she kept following him when he left VIP (where he was). So finally Lisa pulled Raffaella over to him asked him if he was single and wanted to dance with Raffaella. He said he didn't dance but he would talk so he and his friend brought us all up to VIP. We introduced ourselves and Lisa was telling them all where we're from so she's like "Lynnfield, Revere, LA, Malden" and the guys are like "LA!?" I explained I just moved there and they asked what I do so I told them I work for a tv show and hes like "what? which one?" So I said Dr. Phil. Then the guy Raffaella liked (who btw was cuter from far away then close but he had a great body!) said I looked familiar and his friend goes "yeah dude shes on tv" which everyone got a kick out of and I was like I don't know you. It was rather funny and apparently later in the night the friend who kept dancing w/lisa even though she didnt think he was cute had a camera cell phone and was trying to take a picture of me: according to Mary. I never noticed. It was a great night though! Tons of fun! I miss a good old fashioned girls night out on the hunt for hot guys. We need more of them!
So now I'm back in LA, well Burbank, where it has been thundering, lightening, and pouring buckets for 3 days now and its a long weekend which sucks! One more week till my mom comes back to visit and a week later Michelle, Jackie, and Alysia. So I'll try and keep this updated now, but feel free to call me or e-mail me anytime guys! The number is still the same just 3 hours behind your time in Boston. It doesn't look like I'll be home anytime before graduation so keep you calendars open for:
May 20th (I fly home at 9:30pm)
May 21st (potential grad. party date)
May 22nd (Graduation 2pm Fleet Boston Pavilion)
May 29th (Leave Boston at 4pm).
