the quack is back

ohhh gosh. the last bunch of days have been a blast. the second was a fun ol' time at jarvies, getting to see a bunch of kids i haven't seen in forever. including chelsea marx(cks?) and ashley e and brent and brice and the list goes on. it was great. ran into greg and colin at urban outfitters with erin on the 3rd, and it was the first time i'd seen either of them for weeks. proceeded to have a fun chill night with the three of them, then down to tukee for ihop with some cool cats from MP. then it was one of the best 4th of july's i've ever had. probably the best. kudos to sarah on hosting her first party ever, and doing it well. accidentally woke up at greg's house. the fifth...well, colin bought a four-and-a-half-foot bong; i'll leave it at that. then on the sixth i found out how to get to my new house, and went to play some pool at brents new place. it turned into a party, and a good one. there was a kitten in the backyard! and no one knows where it came from, but it liked me. kelly and my memories were erased from a certain point on. all i've got left is the five or so minutes i spent trying to unlock the front door of my aunts house after being dropped off. last night was pretty good, but i'm lame, and kept falling asleep, so i called it a night before the real celebrations began.

we were supposed to be moving into the new house today, but some shit happened, and it's delayed. we're getting the truck monday, the 10th, which is when i was planning to start living there anyway, so no big deal.

had an interview at az art supplies yesterday. i really hope i get this job, it sounds like it'll be great. it's like michaels, except i'm only selling things i'm interested in, there are a bunch of discounts, everyone who works there works hard and knows what they're talking about, the ceo's visit every store (there are 4) every day and hand out raises and benefits and bonuses to people doing well, and the starting pay is 8 to 8.50 depending on experience (and i have experience!). come thursday they'll be calling me, and hopefully they'll have hired me.

i'm tired of being poor and atlas shrugged is a weird book
