I has money! Well, actually, not anymore, but I do owe my phone and credit card companies a lot less now.
Job is going... well, I think. Everyone else there seems to think I'll be staying for at least quite some time, but I'm slightly less convinced, mostly because I'll be the one screwed if I don't, not them. The accountant doesn't have much more work for me, but one of the other people said the owner told him to teach me everything he does, so I guess I'll be helping him next? Hopefully? I've already helped with a few things, but only a very few, so I don't know if that's just because they know I'm busy with other stuff, or if that's all there is to do.
But hopefully, hopefully they'll keep me, because apparently this guy is going on vacation soon, and one of the other guys... uh. Disappeared. Like, left with an external of all the work he's been doing, and refuses any contact now. Yeah, I don't even. Hopefully, they'll make me his permanent replacement or something. The guy I'm helping next said he'll make me a company e-mail address and give me more access to the program we use for the stores and head office, but that hasn't happened yet, so I dunno if he just didn't get around to it or if the owner vetoed it.
I was supposed to work today, though...? But I dunno...? The accountant is taking today and tomorrow off, but the district manager wanted me to go with her to another location to help with inventory. We never did decide on when and where to meet, so she got my number and gave me hers, and said she'll call me this weekend or I can call-or-text her. So there was nothing the whole weekend, and I texted her last night, but no answer. So I got up way early in case she calls, but nothing yet. So I guess I just sit around and wait? I mean, it's not like I desperately want to go, but I'm worried they'll be less willing to give me work if I don't. But I can't very well go if I don't know when and where to meet her, right? D: Otherwise, I'd just waste $5 travel fee and two hours of traveling and standing around, and be cold and hungry.
In actual good news, I think my cat is fine now! She's not hot anymore, and is back to her weirdo self of weirdo.
Speaking of cats, Eilia showed me a video of a cat cafe in Japan. Where people pay money. To go in. And pet cats. XD They're really cute, but this is such a "Wow, only Japan..." thing. Although it really is an "only Japan" thing, I think. Because they interviewed some guy who said well, he mainly goes because his place doesn't allow pets, and you have to pay more rent if you want to keep one, and things like that. North Americans have so many pets that this normally wouldn't be an issue. If you can't keep one, chances are half your friends have one. >.>;
In gaming news! I got farther in Skyward Sword again, V and Vanja might want to know. XD Dani kept playing, and Eilia kept playing it, so I went BAW I WANNA PLAY TOOOOOO and got over my fear of electricity. >.>;
Vanja's right, sand ship was really fun. XD The boss took forever, though! I wasn't doing the thing right at the start, so that took a long time, and near the end I was so tired because I flailed so much. The whole battle took half an hour, with a battery change in the middle, because, yes, wiimote ran out right during battle. XD;;;
I am really liking my bow! I thought it was kinda underwhelming when I first got it, because I had the slingshot already, and my super remote-controlled bug, and clawshot, and whip, and stuff, so I was like, BAH WHAT DO I NEED ANOTHER PROJECTILE FOR. But wow, the range, and the power! *_* I upgraded both that and my shield to maximum. Very helpful. *_*
I finished the fire sanctuary too! (Got Eilia to do silent realm for me again, haha. >.>;) That was fun, too. The boss was really hard. D: I ended the battle with like. Half a heart. After using a fairy. (Mind, I did still have another fairy, and a bottle of upgraded red potion...)
I'm catching more bugs in Zelda now. >.>; Because I went, oh crap, I really need to upgrade those potions. 8 hearts a pop doesn't really cut it anymore when I have... uh... I think 15. Plus, I used to be really bad at bug-catching because I thought you were really supposed to sneak up on them and swoop, and if you don't catch it, too bad. But Eilia and Dani just chase after them with flailing net, and I discovered this works much, much better. *coughs* (I also like their way of choosing "Zelda? o_o" as the response to everything. XD)
Also I think I figured out who the old lady at the sealed temple is! :D
...Okay, that's it for Zelda.
Meanwhile, Eilia and I have been trying to plan ahead for minigames for next game! We finished planning a cute cute game of so cute yesterday. XD I dunno who's actually hosting it, though. Maybe both of us? We're also trying to make Pandemic work as a minigame, but it's really hard... It'd be so fun, though!
And in closing! Story of an annoying thing that happened yesterday!
So Eilia and I went grocery shopping yesterday. And the cashier person kept trying to stuff things into bags for us, I don't know if we were slow or she was trying to be helpful or what. But she was really just shoving everything into one bag, and refused to stop when I asked, "Please let us do it ourselves", while Eilia and I were trying to separate them by weight so we'd have an equal amount to carry. And she was really careless about it, too! She even tried to just stuff the eggs sideways into the nearly-full bag. This is important later, becaaaaaause...
...as we were walking out, I wondered, "Why does this thing feel kinda wet and sticky?" (Yes, context. *coughs*) Wet and sticky thing was egg carton. Opened it. An egg was cracked. -___________-
Luckily, they let us just get a new one. But still. It's something that shouldn't have happened to begin with. DD:
